Senior Facilities Planner

About the role

Performs a variety project management activities for Facilities Management typically involving design and construction. Develops comprehensive plans, leads multi-disciplinary teams, and monitors project progress providing updates to leadership and key stakeholders.

Manages the simultaneous completion of multiple and/or large complex Facilities Projects including multi-year new building constructions, renovations, clinical and operational moves/logistics, space programming and planning, and maintenance activities, independently.

Provides process leadership in the project management discipline and serves as liaison between project management team and stakeholders. Mitigates risk and cost while organizing team goals, developing the project's critical pathway and building consensus across multiple Health System teams.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages project scope, schedule, and budget
• Provides project management oversight through all phases of a project
• Leads a large, multi-disciplinary project team from initial conception to completion
• Reviews project status and provides updates to leadership
• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet Health System goals and objectives
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, State and Federal codes, and Medical Center policy requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, with a Bachelor's Degree in architecture, engineering, or construction strongly preferred
• Five years' experience in hands-on project or construction management
• PMP certification required within 2 years of hire

Qualifications

Working knowledge of building codes, fire and life safety codes, ADA codes, and modern concepts of form and function in a healthcare setting.

Ability to generate and/or interpret basic floor layouts based on end-users' needs and service requirements.

Skills

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead presentations and teams.

Ability to develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem-solving.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $87,755.20 - $144,025.00 annually, with individual compensation determined by qualifications, experience, and education.
