Responsibilities
- Oversight of comprehensive facilities operations ensuring optimal performance and compliance
- Management of critical infrastructure such as power systems and cooling systems
- Leadership and development of a team of facilities professionals, fostering a culture of service excellence
- Development and management of budgets and financial forecasts for facilities operations
- Serving as the main client contact, ensuring strong relationships through effective communication
- Coordination of preventive maintenance programs and vendor contracts to minimize downtime
- Conducting inspections and risk assessments for continuous improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive facilities management experience, including 3 years in a leadership role
- Expertise in building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety)
- Experience with specialized systems (laboratory HVAC for cleanroom environments, gas detection systems)
- Proven ability to manage multi-million dollar budgets while delivering cost savings
- Strong leadership skills for developing high-performing teams
- Excellent client relationship management and communication abilities
Pay
$200,000 – $221,000 annually
