Senior Executive Assistant
About the role
This EA role is in most days in office in our Charlotte, NC office location. The Senior Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the President, Consumer Bank, and other assigned executive leaders in a fast-paced financial services environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the executive leader’s calendar, schedule meetings, coordinate appointments, and arrange travel logistics.
- Prepare, review, and edit correspondence, presentations, reports, and other documents for executive leaders.
- Organize and coordinate meetings, board presentations, and cross-functional sessions; prepare agendas, take minutes, and track action items.
- Screens and prioritizes incoming communications, responding on behalf of the executive leader as appropriate.
- Maintain confidential files and records related to the Consumer Bank strategy, business performance, and regulatory matters.
- Cover coordination with other executive assistants and departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
- Support special projects and initiatives led by the executive leaders.
- Monitor deadlines and follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely completion.
- Handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
- May produce expense reports for department; process invoices for payment.
Requirements
The Senior Executive Assistant requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The Executive Assistant will serve as a key liaison between the executive leaders they support, internal stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring efficient operations and effective communication within the Consumer Bank business line.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: 0+ years of experience, High school Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience as an executive assistant, preferably in financial services or a regulated industry, Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and virtual meeting platforms, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure, High level of professionalism, discretion, and judgment, Strong organizational and time-management skills, Familiarity with consumer banking or regulated financial services is a plus.

Benefits
Time Away: Program starts at 20 paid time off days in addition to 11 paid holidays and 8 hours of volunteer time off yearly (time off days are prorated based on start date and program varies based on full or part-time status and management level).
Pay
Base Pay Range: $84500 - $110000 USD An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
Schedule
Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Your hiring manager will discuss this role's specific work requirements with you during the hiring process.
