Senior Estimator, Substations - Michels Pacific Energy, Inc.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate bid specifications and drawings
- Ensure all aspects of the project are documented and accounted for
- Aggressively follow-up with subcontractors to ensure bids are received
- Work with Project Management teams to follow-up on bids and budgets
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a 4-year college or university
- Experience in utility construction estimating
- At least 5 years of substation estimating experience
- Valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Strong abilities to produce highly accurate work in a timely manner, maintain strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are a must. A strong understanding and being comfortable working with numbers has been a key success to this role.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $157,000 - $250,000 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position. Pay will be determined based on an individual’s skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
