Senior Estimator, Substations - Michels Pacific Energy, Inc.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate bid specifications and drawings
• Ensure all required information is available for successful bidding
• Aggressively follow-up with subcontractors to receive bids
• Work with Project Management teams to follow-up on bids and budgets
• Review bid requirements for projects under $500K, ensuring all aspects are documented

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• At least 5 years of substation estimating experience
• Valid driver license and acceptable driving record
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to produce highly accurate work in a timely manner
• Comfortable working with numbers
