Senior Engineering Test Technician
Job Description
You’ll be the final checkpoint before our designs get to our customers — testing, validating, and making sure everything performs to perfection.
- Set up and run qualification tests on precision bellows, assemblies, and finished parts
- Read and understand technical drawings, qualification test plans, and customer specifications
- Work with engineers to develop test setups capable of meeting test requirements
- Support multiple test plans simultaneously with multiple active tests per plan
- Use mechanical tools and test equipment to run qualification tests
- Identify and work to correct test issues
- Keep quality, safety, and data integrity at the forefront of everything
- Use basic computer systems for data entry and job tracking
- Maintain and grow the capabilities of the engineering test lab
- Support your team — train others, share knowledge, and raise the bar
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/prints
- Comfortable following written work instructions and procedures
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Skills in rigorous note-taking and data collection
- Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including hoses, valves, and regulators
- Comfortable working with high-pressure systems (6,000+ PSI)
- Able to accurately install, read, and interpret pressure and temperature gauges
- Able to assemble basic electrical wiring of the sensors and valves necessary to run tests
Additional Information
Hiring Range: $76,000-96,000 annually.
Final compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, relevant qualifications, and internal equity.
