Senior Engineering Support Specialist
Requires a Bachelor’s or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Requires an additional 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of job-related experience.
Clearance Requirements
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
Make the world’s most advanced Strategic Weapons System even smarter. At General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS), you’ll work with exceptional engineers to invent technologies, products, and services that support national security. As an Engineering Lead for Program Protection, you will coordinate a cross-functional team responsible for ensuring technical security initiatives across the Strategic Weapons Control portfolio.
- Introduce and manage modernization technical initiatives by integrating complex technical scope across teams with varying goals.
- Mentor engineering leaders on technical and project management topics.
- Provide engineering leadership with strong communication, cross-discipline knowledge, design review package generation, and customer engagement.

Pay
Target salary range: USD $106,477.00/Yr. - USD $115,212.00/Yr. Actual pay may vary based on experience and geographic location.
Schedule
This position is fully on-site with the option to flex moving forward. While on-site, you will be part of the Pittsfield, MA Systems Engineering team.
