About the Role
The qualified candidate will have at least 6+ years’ relevant experience working in steel design, steel connection design, and erection sequencing analysis. The role requires a high energy level and a self-motivated senior engineer who can work within a strong team environment, serving clients on major projects throughout the United States and internationally. Technical specialization, proactivity, and a strong customer service attitude are essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform steel design, steel connection design, and erection sequencing analysis
- Supervise and mentor junior staff
- Collaborate with clients including architects, developers, institutions, and contractors
- Demonstrate proactivity and aggressiveness in meeting client and project needs
- Work within a hybrid team environment, balancing in-office and remote work
Requirements
- 6–9 years’ experience in steel design, steel connection design, and erection sequencing analysis
- Demonstrated career growth with experience supervising junior staff
- Master’s in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural strongly preferred
- P.E. license within your residing state, or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months
- SAP 2000 modeling experience required
- Experience with Tekla and Building Information Modeling (BIM) a plus
- Proactive with strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication
- Client-service oriented with a “can-do” attitude
