Senior Engineer - Construction Engineering
About the Role
Walter P Moore has an immediate opening for a Senior Engineer to join our dynamic Construction Engineering team. The qualified candidate will work within a strong team environment, serving clients on major projects throughout the United States and internationally. Clients include architects, developers, institutions, and contractors. The role requires technical specialization, proactivity, and a strong "can-do" customer service attitude.
Responsibilities
- Steel design and steel connection design
- Erection sequencing analysis
- Supervision of junior staff
- Collaborate with clients and project teams to meet project needs
- Utilize SAP 2000 for modeling
- Leverage Tekla and Building Information Modeling (BIM) where applicable
Requirements
- 6–9 years’ experience in steel design, steel connection design, and erection sequencing analysis
- Demonstrated career growth with supervisory experience
- Master’s in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural strongly preferred
- P.E. license in your residing state, or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proactive, strong organizational skills, and excellent written/verbal communication
- Client-service orientation
