Accountabilities
- Manage the technical execution and operational quality of email marketing programs.
- Ensure campaigns are accurately built, tested, optimized, and deployed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and campaign performance.
- Build, configure, test, schedule, and deploy email marketing campaigns within enterprise email service provider (ESP) platforms.
- Manage audience segmentation, list uploads, suppression processes, and targeting requirements to support campaign objectives.
- Perform detailed quality assurance checks across email content, links, personalization, dynamic elements, tracking, rendering, and functionality.
- Partner with production and campaign teams to troubleshoot template issues, coding challenges, and platform-related concerns.
- Cook up campaign launches according to production schedules, service-level expectations, and operational guidelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation, deployment records, and campaign processes to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Support A/B testing initiatives, campaign validation, and pre-launch approval workflows.
- Identify opportunities to improve automation, QA procedures, reporting processes, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with email marketing best practices, accessibility standards, deliverability guidelines, and data integrity requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including strategy, production, account management, and technology teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3-5+ years of experience in email operations, campaign execution, marketing operations, or email production.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying email campaigns using platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, Braze, Iterable, Acoustic, or similar ESP solutions.
- Experience with audience segmentation, list management, data imports, and campaign configuration.
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including deliverability, CAN-SPAM/GDPR compliance, and accessibility standards.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email and the ability to troubleshoot rendering issues.
- Experience using email testing and quality assurance tools such as Litmus or Email on Acid.
- Familiarity with UTM tracking, campaign tagging, analytics validation, and performance measurement.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar productivity tools.
- Ability to work remotely while maintaining strong communication and accountability.
