Duties And Responsibilities

  • Detail knowledge and experience in the electrical discipline, with basic knowledge of related disciplines.
  • Understand and apply discipline codes, standards, and legislation.
  • Complete field investigations of electrical installations.
  • Support local construction activities and respond to technical Requests for Information (RFI) in a timely manner.
  • Power system design for municipal and industrial loads.
  • Lighting design proficiency in industrial settings.
  • Use CAD tools (SKM, AGI32, and MicroStation).
  • Work independently and as part of a team, showing resilience, emotional composure, and self-management.
  • Lead discipline teams, including engineers and technicians.
  • Mentor and train junior team members.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (spoken and written).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating commitment to achieving group objectives.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent, plus applicable registrations.
  • Minimum 10+ years’ relevant industry experience preferred.
  • Professional Engineering license in Florida.
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
  • Experience within the Water and Wastewater Market (preferred).

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $115,000.00 to $170,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
