Senior Electrical Engineer (Water/Wastewater)

Duties And Responsibilities

• Detail knowledge and experience in the electrical discipline, with basic knowledge of related disciplines
• Understand and apply discipline codes, standards, and legislation
• Complete field investigations of electrical installations
• Support local construction activities and respond to technical Requests for Information (RFI) in a timely manner
• Power system design for municipal and industrial loads
• Lighting design proficiency in industrial settings
• Use CAD tools (SKM, AGI32, and MicroStation)
• Work independently and as part of a team, showing resilience, emotional composure, and self-management
• Lead discipline teams, including engineers and technicians
• Mentor and train junior team members
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (spoken and written)
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating commitment to achieving group objectives

Requirements

• B.S. in Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent, plus applicable registrations
• Minimum 10+ years’ relevant industry experience preferred
• Professional Engineering license in Florida
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
• Experience within the Water and Wastewater Market (preferred)

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $115,000.00 to $170,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
