Experience
- Leadership experience in community association management, property management, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience managing teams and working with Boards of Directors required.
Education
- CMCA certification required within six (6) months of hire.
Requirements
- Proficient in applications including but not limited to C3, Branch Access, Strongroom, TownSq, Citrix (add any CMI specific systems if needed).
- Possess the ability to navigate through different departments who utilize these applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of financial reporting tools and Client Pulse Report (CPR) reporting systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular team meetings to review team performance, provide coaching and feedback, encourage open communication, and offer ongoing education and training opportunities.
- Promote a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement by creating a safe space for feedback, professional development, and knowledge sharing.
- Attend at least one Board meeting annually for each community managed within your assigned team/POD.
- Maintain regular communication with Board Presidents and key Board members.
- Ensure team members consistently provide the following monthly Board deliverables: action list updates, board packets and manager's reports, board meeting agendas, and post-meeting follow-up.
- Ensure monthly financial statements are delivered accurately and on time.
- Work with each team member to ensure annual budgets are prepared, reviewed, and delivered accurately.
- Provide direct oversight of team members' performance.
- Ensure all Strongroom approvals are completed promptly and accurately.
- Assist with coverage during team member absences and help support open positions resulting from growth, vacancies, or extended leave to ensure continuity of service.
