Senior Director, Supply Chain Operations

About the Role

This position is accountable for tactical leadership of Kestra’s supply chain activity for equipment that supports lifesaving medical devices. As a leader, you will build, maintain, and strengthen key internal and external relationships, working with outsourced suppliers to ensure inventory levels are maintained and manufacturing constraints are accurate and mitigated. This role manages a team of Supply Chain, Planning, and Distribution professionals and collaborates cross-functionally with peers.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and tactical leadership at the executive level for all supply chain operations activities.
• Manage the profit and loss of the supply chain operations.
• Develop and execute strategies, systems, and processes that support accelerated growth and drive desired performance levels, product quality, predictability, reliability, and responsiveness of the supply chain.
• Lead the team to facilitate supply chain, manufacturing, planning, distribution, and technical strategies.
• Collaborate with other leaders to optimize global manufacturing operations with outsourcing partners, including suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners.
• Work with outsourced suppliers to confirm planning processes are followed, manufacturing constraints are accurate, and feasible production plans are developed.
• Continually identify and mitigate risks and monitor resource allocations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or directly related experience in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a healthcare-related field.
• Minimum 15 years of direct experience within a regulated, technical, and/or medical device manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading high-performing teams who meet and exceed goals.
• Demonstrated experience building collaborative cross-functional relationships to execute strategies.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree.
• Experience managing a global supply chain, including logistics, export compliance, and vendor management.
• Experience working in a start-up environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Supply Chain team members, including conducting performance reviews, providing feedback, and helping set professional development goals.

Work Environment

• Indoor open office environment with minimal noise typical to an office setting.
• Extended or overtime hours when needed.
• Kestra manufactures and provides life-saving products regulated by the Federal Food and Drug Administration and under contract with Medicare.
• Drug-free workplace; testing is a condition of employment.

Physical Demands

• Frequent repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers, such as keyboard and mouse usage.
• Frequent stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Frequent computer, phone, and other business machine use.
• Occasional lifting required, up to 20 pounds.

Travel

Occasional domestic and international travel may be required, typically 15-20%.

Pay

Annualized salary range: $180,000 - $240,000, plus bonus, depending on experience.
