About the role
The Senior Director of Strategic Transformation leads and influences large-scale organizational changes, aligning with senior leaders and strategic vision to drive successful transformations. This role oversees project portfolios, ensures adherence to standards, manages program leaders, project managers, and teams, executes and delivers projects on scope, schedule, and budget, analyzes data for trends and improvements, develops new skills and capabilities, and tracks performance.
Responsibilities
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with enterprise leaders to define, prioritize, and develop programs and initiatives
- Maximize efficiencies and ensure financial targets are met (including value, outcomes measurements, and KPIs)
- Oversee project portfolios and ensure transformation and project management standards across the organization
- Manage program leaders, project managers, and teams
- Execute and deliver projects on scope, schedule, and budget
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
- Develop new skills and capabilities within the organization to support ongoing transformation initiatives
- Track and measure performance against key metrics and targets
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5 years leadership experience required
- 5 years project management experience required
- PMP certification required
Qualifications
- Within health plan or payer organizations, expertise in payer operations, affordability, medical cost, or growth strategy
- Familiarity with regulatory environments and value-based models
- Experience aligning strategy across clinical, actuarial, and operational teams
