About the Role
The Coca-Cola Company is investing in its digital transformation agenda across North America Supply Chain and Commercial Product Supply (CPS) operations, leveraging technology, data, automation, artificial intelligence, and modern digital capabilities to drive business growth, operational excellence, supply chain resiliency, and customer value. This role serves as the strategic technology partner to North America Supply Chain leadership and the executive leader responsible for delivering large-scale business transformation programs, product initiatives, and enterprise technology investments, particularly SAP-enabled digital capabilities.
The North America Supply Chain ecosystem encompasses the finished goods supply chain serving bottling partners and customers, including Coca-Cola-owned manufacturing facilities, third-party copackers, external warehouses, and distribution partners. It also includes supply chains for concentrates, sweeteners, ingredients, juices, packaging materials, and the global Coca-Cola Service Equipment and Parts network. This highly interconnected environment requires seamless collaboration across business functions, operating units, external partners, and technology platforms.
As The Coca-Cola Company evolves toward a Product Operating Model, this leader will drive the transition from traditional project-based delivery to product-centric, outcome-oriented ways of working. A key focus area is shaping and executing Coca-Cola's Supply Chain AI strategy, including evaluating and scaling emerging technologies to automate processes, improve productivity, and enhance decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Partnering & Client Engagement:
- Serve as the primary technology and transformation partner for North America Supply Chain leadership.
- Develop trusted relationships with business executives, functional leaders, and key stakeholders to understand strategic priorities and challenges.
- Partner with business leaders and Product Owners to define business capabilities, product strategies, and long-term technology roadmaps.
- Translate business strategies into executable transformation programs, product investments, and technology initiatives.
- Facilitate prioritization of investments, product backlogs, resources, and improvements across multiple business functions.
- Drive alignment between global standards, architectural principles, and North America business priorities.
- Establish value realization frameworks and ensure technology investments deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Influence executive decision-making through strategic consulting and business-focused technology leadership.
- Product, Program & Portfolio Leadership:
- Lead a portfolio of enterprise-wide programs, products, and strategic initiatives with significant business impact and multi-million-dollar investments.
- Drive adoption and maturation of Product Operating Model principles across Supply Chain technology and business teams.
- Establish governance frameworks supporting both strategic programs and product-based delivery models.
- Develop integrated roadmaps balancing innovation, modernization, technical debt reduction, AI initiatives, and operational priorities.
- Ensure programs and products achieve business objectives, quality standards, financial targets, and value realization goals.
- Manage dependencies, risks, issues, resources, and organizational readiness activities across multiple initiatives.
- Partner with Product Managers, Enterprise Architects, and Business Leaders to define success measures, KPIs, and outcome-based metrics.
- Drive delivery excellence through effective PMO governance, execution discipline, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- SAP, AI & Enterprise Solution Leadership:
- Provide strategic leadership and solution oversight for SAP S/4HANA and related supply chain platforms supporting Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, Inventory Management, and Customer Fulfillment processes.
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure scalable, integrated, resilient, and sustainable solution designs.
- Translate business requirements into technology strategies, enterprise architectures, and implementation roadmaps.
- Drive adoption of SAP standard capabilities and global template solutions to maximize value and reduce complexity.
- Evaluate emerging technologies including SAP Business AI, SAP Joule, SAP BTP, Generative AI, Predictive Analytics, Intelligent Automation, Machine Learning, and Digital Assistants.
- Lead the identification, development, piloting, and scaling of AI-enabled business capabilities across the Supply Chain landscape.
- Partner with SAP and strategic technology vendors to maximize value from current and future technology investments.
- Support modernization initiatives leveraging cloud platforms, data and analytics capabilities, automation technologies, and intelligent business processes.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, cybersecurity requirements, and governance frameworks.
- Vendor, Systems Integrator & Consulting Partner Management:
- Lead strategic relationships with Systems Integrators (SIs), consulting firms, software providers, and managed service partners.
- Develop sourcing strategies and partner engagement models that support business objectives and delivery commitments.
- Establish governance processes to ensure quality, accountability, performance, and measurable business value from external partners.
- Manage Statements of Work (SOWs), commercial agreements, contract negotiations, performance metrics, and vendor obligations.
- Evaluate partner capabilities, delivery effectiveness, and resource strategies to support strategic initiatives.
- Drive continuous optimization of vendor delivery models and partner performance.
- Financial Management & Procurement Governance:
- Develop and manage annual operating budgets, project budgets, capital plans, product investments, and long-range financial forecasts.
- Ensure investments are aligned to business priorities and deliver expected business value and ROI.
- Oversee procurement activities for software, consulting services, managed services, and technology investments.
- Manage budget performance, financial reporting, cost optimization opportunities, and capital planning activities.
- Support Annual Business Planning (ABP) and Operational Business Planning (OBP) processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial governance policies, spending controls, and approval authorities.
- Change Management & Organizational Readiness:
- Lead change management activities supporting new technologies, business capabilities, organizational structures, and operating models.
- Partner with business leaders to define communication, training, stakeholder engagement, adoption, and readiness plans.
- Support the organization's transition to Product Operating Model principles and product-centric ways of working.
- Drive adoption of AI-enabled capabilities, intelligent automation, and data-driven decision-making across business functions.
- Establish adoption metrics and measure achievement of intended business outcomes.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Operational Excellence, Innovation & Governance:
- Drive standardization, simplification, automation, and process harmonization across the Supply Chain ecosystem.
- Establish governance frameworks ensuring execution discipline, accountability, transparency, and strategic alignment.
- Promote responsible adoption of Artificial Intelligence technologies through appropriate governance, security, data quality, compliance, and ethical AI practices.
- Ensure compliance with IT risk management, cybersecurity, audit, business continuity, and disaster recovery requirements.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
- Promote reusable solutions, enterprise standards, and best practices across business and technology organizations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or master’s degree preferred.
- 12+ years of experience leading large-scale technology, business transformation, or digital transformation programs.
- 8+ years of experience managing enterprise portfolios, PMOs, products, or strategic technology investments.
- Experience leading multiple SAP implementation, modernization, or transformation programs.
- Experience operating within or helping organizations adopt Product Operating Model principles and product-oriented delivery frameworks, including capability-based planning, product management principles, value stream alignment, product roadmaps, outcome-based funding models, and customer-centric delivery approaches.
- Experience leading AI, advanced analytics, or intelligent automation initiatives.
