Senior Director, Power, Renewables & Energy Transition | Corporate Finance

About the role

The Power, Renewables & Energy Transition team within FTI Consulting advises businesses, lenders, equity and infrastructure investors, law firms, and utilities globally on strategic decision-making, financial and operational restructuring, due diligence, transaction advisory, merger integration, business carve-outs, and performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Take central role on projects, taking day-to-day responsibility for delivery, organizing work into streams, and effectively using staff members.
• Work with other senior project team members to develop the approach to projects, or parts of large projects, and anticipate, identify, and resolve issues.
• Responsible for project workstreams and preparing major client deliverables, including their structure and content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or any related business field.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant post-graduate professional experience.
• Ability to travel to clients and to FTI offices as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong foundation in and knowledge of corporate finance and the energy industry.
• Meaningful experience in financial statement analysis and financial modeling.
• Excellent at making complex ideas digestible.
• Strong project management skills and experience in managing people and individual work streams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial information.
• Experience managing client engagements and providing exceptional client service.
