About the role

The Senior Director of Principal Giving will lead the development and implementation of strategies to secure major gifts and planned giving support for Asphalt Green. This individual will work closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to build relationships with potential donors and steward existing donors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising plans to secure major gifts and planned giving support
• Build and maintain relationships with potential donors and steward existing donors
• Collaborate with the CEO and Board of Directors to align fundraising goals with organizational priorities
• Manage a portfolio of high-value prospects and donors
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of major gift proposals and solicitations
• Steward relationships with current donors and ensure donor satisfaction

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in fundraising, preferably in a non-profit setting
• Proven track record of securing major gifts and planned giving support
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage a portfolio of high-value prospects and donors
• Experience working with a Board of Directors
