About the role
The Senior Director of Principal Giving will lead the fundraising efforts for Asphalt Green, overseeing major gifts, corporate sponsorships, and individual giving initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of philanthropic strategies and a proven track record in securing significant donations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure major gifts, corporate sponsorships, and individual donations.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including donors, corporate partners, and community leaders.
- Oversee grant writing and proposal development processes.
- Manage the annual giving program, including stewardship of donors and cultivation of new prospects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align fundraising goals with organizational priorities.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in fundraising, preferably in a non-profit setting.
- A proven track record of successfully securing major gifts and corporate sponsorships.
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field such as business, communications, or nonprofit management.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with donors and partners.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
