Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction for nursing staff and clinical programs, ensuring excellence in patient care and compliance with healthcare standards.
- Maintain responsibility for planning, organizing, and overseeing nursing operations and activities.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment fostering professional growth and high morale.
- Implement and enforce policies, procedures, and standards that comply with regulatory and accrediting agency requirements.
- Mentor, supervise, and evaluate clinical staff, ensuring ongoing performance development.
- Manage clinical resources and budgets, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and efficient operations.
- Respond effectively to stressful situations, crises, or emergencies, taking appropriate and timely action.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to further organizational goals.
Key Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of North Carolina or a Compact State (required).
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required at time of hire.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional nursing experience; at least 1 year must be in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a stressful environment and make appropriate decisions under pressure.
