Senior Director of Marketing

About the Role
The Senior Director of Marketing is responsible for translating marketing strategy into flawless execution. This individual serves as the operational leader of the marketing department, ensuring projects move forward with urgency, cross-functional teams remain aligned, and strategic initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest standard of quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day execution of the marketing organization.
- Translate strategic initiatives into detailed project plans with clear ownership, priorities, milestones, and deadlines.
- Ensure projects move forward proactively, identifying and removing obstacles before they impact delivery.
- Establish a culture of accountability, urgency, and operational excellence.
- Provide direct leadership and coaching for functional areas such as Creative Services, Graphic Design, Video Production, Copywriting, AI Marketing, and Digital Marketing.
- Develop talent while fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with Product, IT, Compliance, Sales, Operations, Communications, and Executive Leadership to ensure seamless execution of enterprise marketing initiatives.
- Serve as the central point of coordination for large, cross-functional projects.
- Lead weekly marketing planning meetings and prioritize projects based on business impact.
- Manage department workflows, resource allocation, and improve marketing processes and operational efficiency.
- Implement systems that increase speed, visibility, and accountability.
- Manage agency relationships and external partners as needed.
- Champion the adoption of AI tools and emerging marketing technologies that improve efficiency, creativity, and execution.
- Support the Chief Marketing Officer in executing strategic priorities, preparing executive presentations, and ensuring organizational alignment.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive marketing experience with increasing leadership responsibility.
- Minimum of 5 years leading and developing high-performing marketing teams.
- Demonstrated success managing cross-functional marketing initiatives from strategy through execution.
- Experience overseeing integrated marketing functions, including creative services, digital marketing, content development, branding, and campaign execution.
- Proven track record of successfully managing budgets, agency relationships, and marketing operations.
- Experience implementing marketing technologies, workflow improvements, or AI-driven productivity solutions is highly desirable.
- Experience supporting executive leadership through strategic planning, presentations, and organizational initiatives is preferred.
Schedule
Mon-Fri, between the hours of 8 A.M to 5 P.M. The position may require occasional travel for continuing education, training, or support.
Working Environment
This is an onsite role at our designated office or facility. While temporary remote work arrangements may be granted on a case-by-case basis, the standard expectation is to work onsite.
Office environment with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Required to stand periodically; walk, hear, listen, talk, and visually see. Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; the ability to reach with hands and arms. The ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
