Senior Director of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships
About the role
The Director of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships is responsible for guiding the strategic vision for marketing initiatives, cultivating high-impact partnerships, and overseeing the planning and execution of go-to-market activities.
Responsibilities
- Guide the strategic vision and direction of marketing initiatives
- Develop and execute go to market strategies that support the growth goals of DEWALT in general and the Construction Technology group in particular
- Ensure strategies are grounded in user value creation and market needs by maintaining an in-depth understanding of market expectations and industry trends
- Prioritize cross-product and cross-functional marketing initiatives for maximum impact
- Consult with product and business leaders on the scope and definition of key marketing initiatives, including the development of new campaigns and features
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders, including global brand marketing and regional marketing teams, to ensure marketing effectiveness
- Prepare and deliver strategic marketing plans and regular updates to SBD leadership
- Manage go-to-market team responsible for content, campaigns and events
- Lead quarterly planning sessions to align team objectives with annual goals
- Ensure the team is tracking and reporting on key performance indicators
- Maintain a centralized OneDrive folder for all marketing, partnership, and project files
- Delegate responsibility for collaboration with internal marketing partners and external agencies
- Oversee planning and execution of trade shows and events, including the annual Summit, and in partnership with other teams across the business as needed
- Plan and maintain budget and track spending against that budget to ensure proper spending and allocation of resources
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that advance marketing and business objectives
- Maintain or oversee the maintenance of relationships with key partners
- Define a strategic framework to evaluate partnership opportunities
- Identify and nurture new industry partnerships that align with business strategy, expanding and strengthening workflow solutions and addressing important user needs
Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience working with technology solutions supporting the construction industry required
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and leadership abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in software product management and customer-facing commercialization highly preferred

Pay
The salary range for this position is $115,800-$199,800. This is the lowest to highest annual full-time salary range we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements.
