About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director of Administration to join the team of a leader in the Legal & Accounting space. This senior leadership role will oversee firmwide administration, office operations, and facilities strategy across a multi-location professional services environment. The ideal candidate will partner closely with executive leadership to strengthen operational efficiency, support growth, and ensure consistent service delivery across all offices. This position will also play a key role in shaping workplace experience, real estate planning, and resource management for the organization.
Location & compensation
Boston, MA – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $250,000 – $300,000 annually.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to Directors of Administration across all office locations.
- Partner with the CFO and firm leadership to implement efficient administrative strategies and policies.
- Foster a high-performing administrative culture aligned with a unified organizational approach.
- Evaluate and optimize administrative structures and workflows for enhanced efficiency.
- Oversee the firm's national real estate portfolio and assist with lease negotiations and occupancy strategy.
- Lead all aspects of facilities management, including space planning and capital projects.
- Manage key vendor relationships and procurement for facilities and administrative operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in administration, real estate, and/or facilities management within a legal, consulting, or professional services environment.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing multi-location office operations and leading large, distributed teams.
- Deep knowledge of real estate strategy, lease administration, space planning, and facilities operations.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management related to real estate and operations.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
