About the role
The Senior Director, GSOC Practice will lead the development and implementation of the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) practice within the US Security & IT department. This role requires extensive experience in security operations, incident response, and cybersecurity strategy.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the GSOC, ensuring efficient and effective monitoring and response to security incidents.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security policies and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on security strategies and initiatives.
- Lead the training and development of GSOC staff, focusing on skills in threat analysis, incident response, and cybersecurity awareness.
- Manage relationships with external partners and vendors to enhance security capabilities and services.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating risks to the organization's critical assets.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies related to security operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in security operations, incident response, and cybersecurity management.
- Proven leadership experience in managing large teams and leading complex projects.
- Experience with incident response frameworks such as NIST, CIS, or ISO 27001.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and emerging threats.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing environments.
- Experience with security operations center (SOC) management and operations.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a relevant field preferred.
- CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications preferred.
- Experience with security automation tools and platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud security and hybrid IT environments.
- Experience with security governance and compliance processes.

Pay
Salary range: $150,000 - $200,000 annually.
Schedule
