Senior GSOC Operator

Shift: 07:00–15:00, Sunday–Thursday (5×8 schedule covering 24/7/365 operations; weekends and holidays required).

Responsibilities

• Support GSOC in managing operations and security procedures.
• Ensure consistency from Operators in emergency response, employee communications, travel safety, event and EP support, and security systems monitoring and response.
• Manage information flow and tasking to prioritize competing requests sent to the GSOC team.
• Provide guidance and edits on products developed by Operators.
• During emergency incidents, VIP visits, client events, and other high-traffic incidents, actively assist and support Operators.
• Utilize mass communication systems to notify employees during emergency events.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholder engagement in emergency and crisis situations.
• Support the management and execution of security operations and administrative requests, including performing those functions where required.
• Perform various safety and security tasks as directed by Client management.
• Assist in onboarding and training new Operators to ensure operational readiness and adherence to GSOC protocols.
• Conduct weekend audits of security systems and procedures to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
• Act as a point of escalation for security incidents requiring immediate decision-making and resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (international relations, international security, political science, journalism, regional studies, etc.).
• 3–5 years of experience in government, corporate security, or a similar role.
• 1+ year of experience in a senior role, assisting in editing and reviewing work in a GSOC.
• Superior writing and editing skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Understanding of CCTV and alarm technology.
• Professional demeanor with a positive attitude.
• Demonstrated team player with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.

Pay

Base salary range: $80,000–$85,000 per year. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
