Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with all Sika safety, site security, and environmental policies.
• Maintain housekeeping objectives, ensuring work areas are clean and orderly.
• Execute production processes according to established quality guidelines and report process variations promptly.
• Attain daily production schedules and ensure processes achieve optimum output rates.
• Set up materials and equipment for batch-making processes, including assisting with shift transitions.
• Complete SAP order confirmations accurately and timely; assist with other SAP processes such as return-to-stock orders and materials requisitioning.
• Perform production activities including batch making, packaging finished goods, product set-ups, changeovers, and other tasks as directed.
• Operate and maintain equipment according to best practices; assist in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Work collaboratively with a positive attitude toward common goals.
• Guide, assist, and train new and temporary employees.
• Lead, participate in, or support continuous improvement activities as directed by management.
• Execute additional projects or activities as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated competency in batch making within Sika manufacturing processes or extensive experience in a similar industry.
• Approximately 1 year of experience as a Sika Operator or equivalent manufacturing experience.

Skills

• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
• Strong math skills, including proficiency with fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Ability to develop process expertise for troubleshooting.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Flexibility to work any shift and overtime as required.
• Self-motivated with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Ability to operate a forklift and other equipment as trained.
