Position Summary

SKIMS is seeking a Senior Director, Domestic Wholesale to lead the strategic vision, commercial growth, and operational execution of our domestic wholesale business. Reporting to the SVP of Wholesale, this Los Angeles-based leader will drive profitable expansion across key department stores, specialty retailers, and strategic distribution partners while ensuring alignment with the SKIMS brand vision and long-term growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the long-range strategic plan for Domestic Wholesale, translating company objectives into actionable account, category, and channel growth strategies

  • Drive wholesale revenue growth while maintaining strong brand positioning, profitability, and distribution discipline

  • Build and implement assortment segmentation strategies across wholesale partners to optimize productivity, pricing architecture, customer acquisition, and margin performance

  • Identify opportunities for expansion within department stores, specialty retailers, and emerging channels while ensuring alignment with the SKIMS brand strategy

  • Establish and manage key performance indicators across the wholesale business, including door productivity, sell-through, inventory productivity, margin performance, replenishment, and profitability

  • Lead strategic account planning through detailed analysis of consumer demand, regional performance, category trends, and competitive market dynamics

  • Partner closely with Merchandising, Planning, and Product teams to develop category growth strategies and productivity targets

  • Lead pre-market and post-market business reviews and develop actionable recommendations that support long-term growth objectives

  • Influence assortment and distribution decisions through detailed analysis of sales performance, replenishment opportunities, newness productivity, and customer behavior

  • Develop annual account plans focused on revenue growth, market share expansion, customer acquisition, and category penetration

  • Partner cross-functionally with Planning, Merchandising, Marketing, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, and Visual Merchandising teams to ensure seamless execution and exceptional partner experiences

  • Lead new account launches, category expansions, and distribution initiatives, creating customized growth strategies to maximize productivity and brand impact

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing wholesale team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, analytical rigor, and continuous improvement

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 12+ years of experience in wholesale sales, account management, retail leadership, or related commercial functions within apparel, intimates, lifestyle, or adjacent consumer categories
  • Proven success managing large-scale wholesale businesses and significant revenue responsibility
  • Deep understanding of wholesale distribution strategies, assortment architecture, retail productivity metrics, and account planning
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen with expertise in forecasting, retail math, inventory management, and performance reporting
  • Established relationships with major domestic department stores and specialty retail partners
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and build strong executive partnerships both internally and externally
  • Experience leading, developing, and scaling high-performing teams within a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business analytics tools

Compensation

$220,000 - $240,000 / year
