Senior Director, Business Development
Position Summary
Provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs, developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices. Analyzes costs and forecasts and incorporates them into business plans. Determines and supports resource requirements. Evaluates operational processes. Measures outcomes to ensure desired results. Identifies and capitalizes on improvement opportunities. Promotes a customer environment and sponsors continuous learning.
What you'll do...
- Drives business growth by developing and maintaining high-level internal and external business relationships, understanding and managing mutual value propositions, risks, and benefits, and supporting engagement and dialogue with stakeholders to mitigate risks, resolve issues, and realize value propositions and subsequent business objectives.
- Sets and guides the overall sales strategy to ensure highest valuation by directing sales and the management of key accounts, negotiating and purchasing any sub-primal needs that are not met with internal supply chain, managing outside purchases needed to meet specifications and procurement guidelines, ensuring partners deliver on agreed contractual terms, and overseeing the exception approval process.
- Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps, recruiting, selecting, and developing talent, supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning, and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent.
- Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices, developing consequences for violations or noncompliance, and supporting the Open Door Policy.
- Serves as a liaison between internal and external partners and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leading key community outreach and involvement initiatives, engaging key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives, and supporting associate efforts in these areas.

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Stock.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 6 years’ experience in business development, market development, product development, or related area OR 8 years’ experience in business development, market development, product development, or related area. 1 year’s supervisory experience.
