Senior Director, Alliance Management
How You Will Make an Impact
The Senior Director, Alliance Management enhances the value and minimizes the risk of strategic partner alliances by providing leadership, proactive management of a portfolio of programs and products, and building strong relationships with key partners and alliance collaborators. This role is accountable for overall alliance performance, driving strategic partnership growth, and integrating efforts across product development, quality, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, project management, and supply chain to achieve critical milestones that advance programs and the Hypercon platform.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical technology, or related industry.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in alliance management, strategic partnerships, business development, program leadership, or related functions.
- Demonstrated success leading strategic alliances and serving as a key point of contact for external partners.
- Strong business acumen with proven experience driving partnership growth and creating additional business opportunities within existing alliances.
- Experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed environment.
- Strong understanding of product development, manufacturing, quality, regulatory affairs, commercialization, and supply chain activities within the life sciences industry.
- Experience collaborating with CDMOs and external development or manufacturing partners preferred.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and resolve complex business issues through collaboration and negotiation.
- Experience presenting to and interacting with executive leadership teams and governance committees.
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive successful outcomes.
- Certificate of Achievement in Alliance Management (CAAM) or Certified Strategic Alliance Professional (CSAP) certification preferred.
- MS, MBA, PhD, or other advanced degree preferred.

- Base pay range: $214,000 – $290,000 annually.
- Travel: Travel may be required up to 25% of your time.
