Senior Director, Alliance Management
How You Will Make An Impact
As the Senior Director, Alliance Management you will enhance the value and minimize the risk of multiple partner alliances by providing leadership, proactive management of a portfolio of programs/products and build positive relationships with key partners and other alliance collaborators.
In this role, you will support the strategies and business plans and further establish Halozyme as a preferred strategic partner of choice and are accountable for overall alliance, program performance, and integrates efforts across product development, quality, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, project management and supply chain to meet critical achievements to advance programs and the ENHANZE platform.
This role may also support Halozyme’s autoinjector focused partners as needed.
To Succeed In This Role
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in business, life science or related field of study with at least 15 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry (an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered)
- Proven success in alliance management or similar role working directly with alliance partners and as part of an alliance team required
- Strong business development experience with proven success in driving new business within alliances
- Strong knowledge and understanding of global product development and commercialization in the pharmaceutical industry
- Significant experience managing cross-functional teams and experience facilitating multi-disciplinary teams
- Comfort in high-performance, high-demand, high-expectations environment
- Strong ability to influence and negotiate, effectively adjusting style based on the specific scenario/relationship to achieve desired outcome
- Problem solver with strong analytical and decision-making ability, able to synthesize sophisticated and diverse inputs related to a problem, recommend solutions/preferred options
- Ability to contribute to and influence ENHANZE platform strategy
- Certificate of Achievement in Alliance Management (CAAM) or Certified Strategic Alliance Professional (CSAP) certification a plus
- MS or PhD degree preferred
Pay
The most likely base pay range for this position is $214K to $290K per year.

Qualifications
