Our client, a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space, is seeking a Senior Director of Alliance Management to join their team. This role focuses on operational priorities including execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. US-based candidates only; no visa sponsorship is available.

About the role

You will lead operational priorities, collaborate with field leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, and drive accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. This position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a life sciences environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead relationships for strategic alliances and licensing agreements
  • Collaborate in negotiating and executing new strategic alliances
  • Sustain relationships with executive stakeholders and cross-functional leaders
  • Manage governance and performance of alliances, monitoring partnership health
  • Influence cross-functional initiatives to execute strategic priorities
  • Provide subject matter expertise to enhance Alliance Management capabilities
  • Prepare executive communications for strategic decision-making
  • Build productive relationships across global organizations

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of management and post-baccalaureate experience in the biopharma industry
  • Successful leadership in complex strategic alliances within biotechnology or pharmaceutical sectors
  • Strong scientific business acumen, with an understanding of drug discovery and commercialization
  • Experience managing global strategic alliances and regional licensing agreements
  • Exceptional analytical and negotiation skills with a collaborative approach
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and resolve complex issues
  • Experience working effectively across international teams and cultures
  • Advanced degree (MBA, JD, PhD) preferred

Pay

$283,500 – $330,750 annually
