About the role
The Senior Director, Absence, Disability Management and Life (ADML) role involves leading large, complex client engagements in designing and managing ADML programs. Key responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
- Design and manage ADML benefit plan analysis, cost savings strategies, and audits of vendor performance.
- Develop and implement paid family and company leave programs.
- Grow ADML revenue through new client pursuits and sales.
- Oversee consultants and project managers in delivering project plans and presenting final deliverables to clients.
- Contribute to marketing efforts by speaking at conferences, writing articles, and promoting the company.
- Show leadership by managing and mentoring other consultants.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in consulting or brokerage environments, focusing on large group ADML programs.
- Proven track record of generating revenue and managing large client relationships.
- Experience in leading projects and influencing senior management.
- Strong aptitude for staying updated on health and welfare plan strategy and contributing to its development.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Availability to travel 35-50% (largely day travel).
- A bachelor’s degree required.
- A State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining.
