About the role

The Senior Director, Absence, Disability Management and Life (ADML) role involves leading large, complex client engagements in designing and managing ADML programs. Key responsibilities include:

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage ADML benefit plan analysis, cost savings strategies, and audits of vendor performance.
  • Develop and implement paid family and company leave programs.
  • Grow ADML revenue through new client pursuits and sales.
  • Oversee consultants and project managers in delivering project plans and presenting final deliverables to clients.
  • Contribute to marketing efforts by speaking at conferences, writing articles, and promoting the company.
  • Show leadership by managing and mentoring other consultants.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in consulting or brokerage environments, focusing on large group ADML programs.
  • Proven track record of generating revenue and managing large client relationships.
  • Experience in leading projects and influencing senior management.
  • Strong aptitude for staying updated on health and welfare plan strategy and contributing to its development.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Availability to travel 35-50% (largely day travel).
  • A bachelor’s degree required.
  • A State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining.
