Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and improve software using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
  • Ensure code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
  • Participate in code reviews and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities.
  • Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
  • Implement effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in programming with Python and ability to create and debug solutions.
  • Experience with Docker, cloud environments, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with market data and its use in equities front office systems, including Reuters and Bloomberg data for equities.
  • Knowledge and experience of Equity Derivative products, including Futures and Options.
  • Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) functions such as instrumentation and monitoring.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience of Commodities, Futures, and Options.
  • Experience working with front office users, trading, and structuring.
  • Knowledge of working with KDB.
  • Proficiency in programming with Java.
  • Experience working with AI agents to create fit-for-purpose solutions.

Pay

Minimum Salary: $170,000
Maximum Salary: $230,000

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
