Senior Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a senior developer with a demonstrated ownership mindset, capable of proactively managing and delivering on assigned work. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Hadoop, Spark, Oracle SQL, and Linux, along with experience in an on-call support rotation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain solutions using Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, HDFS, HIVE, and Starburst.
• Write and tune Oracle queries.
• Work with Linux command-line tools and ETL processing concepts.
• Participate in on-call support rotations.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Facilitate discussions, drive meetings, and capture concise, actionable meeting notes.
• Write clear, testable, and business-focused Acceptance Criteria.
• Collaborate as a member of an Agile team using Jira.

Requirements

• Recent experience within the client’s environment.
• Green card holder or US citizen.
• Foundational technical understanding of ETL processing, Oracle, Big Data, Starburst, and Informatica.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Skills

• Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, HDFS, HIVE, Starburst.
• Oracle SQL query writing and tuning.
• Linux command-line.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Agile team experience with Jira.

Pay

$45.70 - $55.70 per hour.

Schedule

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
