Senior Developer

Core Responsibilities

• Analyze and assist in the development of application specifications. Translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain: Crystal Reports, Widgets, Forms, Power Apps, .NET applications/services.
• Perform extensive SQL development. Develop and maintain: SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and database objects.
• Analyze customer information needs, business problems, and business opportunities. Assist in determining efficient and effective systems/programming solutions. Research, analyze information, and draw logical conclusions.
• Serve as an IT subject matter expert for assigned application areas. Provide technical guidance and support for assigned applications.
• Maintain, support, and upgrade existing systems and applications. Design, code, test, debug, document, compile, and implement applications based on business requirements. Ensure quality development and reliable operation of assigned applications.
• Work effectively within a team environment. Participate in both lead and supporting roles depending on project scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of application development experience required.

Technical Skills

• SQL Development: Strong experience writing SQL functions, queries, stored procedures, and views. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server development, including RDBMS design, stored procedures, user-defined functions (UDF), table structures, triggers, transactions, and table variables.
• Application & Report Development: Strong understanding of program, report, and form development tools. Experience developing and maintaining Crystal Reports.
• .NET / C# Development: Knowledge of the .NET web framework. Proficiency in C#.NET with strong understanding of the ecosystem.
• DevOps / Version Control: Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (DevOps).
• Microsoft Power Platform: Experience with Power Apps, Power BI Services, and Power Automate.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Hospital EHR Processes (eMar, Order Entry, Medication Dispensing, Assessments, ADT).
• Knowledge of MyAvatar, RxConnect, and Dentrix.
