Senior Developer Advocate

Accountabilities

  • Own community engagement initiatives, developer education programs, and advocacy efforts designed to strengthen relationships with technical audiences and drive product adoption.
  • Build, nurture, and engage a global community of developers, automation enthusiasts, and open-source contributors through meaningful interactions and support.
  • Develop and execute community growth strategies, including events, meetups, livestreams, videos, blogs, courses, social media initiatives, and partnership programs.
  • Serve as the voice of the developer community by collecting feedback, identifying user needs, and sharing insights with product, engineering, and marketing teams.
  • Create educational content and resources that help developers understand, adopt, and maximize the value of automation and AI-powered workflows.
  • Establish and grow relationships with community leaders, creators, partners, and technical influencers.
  • Represent the developer community externally through public speaking, online engagement, and industry participation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align community initiatives with product goals and business priorities.
  • Track community performance metrics, evaluate initiative effectiveness, and continuously optimize engagement strategies.
  • Identify partnership and co-marketing opportunities that expand reach and strengthen ecosystem growth.

Requirements

  • Experienced developer relations professional with a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for empowering developer communities.
  • 5+ years of experience working in technology, including at least 2+ years in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or a similar community-focused role.
  • Proven experience building and managing developer communities across channels such as social media, video platforms, Discord, blogs, meetups, events, and public speaking.
  • Strong understanding and enthusiasm for automation, no-code/low-code technologies, AI workflows, and/or open-source ecosystems.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into engaging educational content for diverse audiences.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with confidence engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Natural educator and community builder who enjoys mentoring, supporting, and inspiring others.
  • Empathetic, inclusive, approachable, and enthusiastic personality with a genuine desire to help people succeed.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively across distributed teams.
  • Experience with developer tools, technical content creation, or open-source projects is highly valued.
