Senior Data Engineer/Snowflake/Atlanta, GA LOCAL

About the role

A Senior Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team on a full-time basis. You'll help build and own the data pipelines and models that power analytics and product functionality across a platform trusted by 300+ organizations.

Responsibilities

• 65% Snowflake data warehousing & pipeline development
• 35% Azure Data Factory, Python & Kafka
• 65% Hands-on pipeline & dataset development
• 20% Cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering & Client Success
• 15% Data governance, mentorship & process improvement

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, and ETL/ELT best practices
• 4-5 years of hands-on Snowflake experience is required (Azure Synapse or AWS Redshift experience also considered)
• 4-5 years of SQL experience
• 3-4 years of experience with Python
• 2-3 years working with a BI/reporting tool such as Power BI or Tableau
• 2-3 years of data pipeline development experience

Qualifications

• Experience building and consuming APIs
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory
• Familiarity with Kafka and Kafka Connect
• Familiarity with Spark/Databricks
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages
• Familiarity with Azure services such as Logic Apps and Power Apps
• Familiarity with monitoring or logging tools
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps CI/CD and SDLC tools like Jira/Confluence
