Location & Duration
NYC, NY (locals or nearby only). 12‑month contract.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 8–10 years of experience in data analysis, data objects development, and modeling in Snowflake.
- Required experience with Snowflake REST API.
- Experience building data pipelines from legacy systems to Snowflake for unstructured and semi‑structured datasets.
- Informatica ETL and/or Talend ETL experience.
- Proven ability to work in distributed systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across IT and business groups, regions, and roles.
- Experience collaborating with data scientists/experts to integrate machine‑learning models into Snowflake data warehousing.
Skills
- Efficient SQL and PL/SQL query development.
- Python scripting for data processing.
- Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., DB2) and data transformation tasks.
- Strong data‑modeling concepts and schema design for both relational and cloud data stores.
- Familiarity with data‑visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI (plus).
