About the role

Horizon3 is a fast-growing, remote cybersecurity company dedicated to enabling organizations to proactively find, fix, and verify exploitable attack vectors before criminals exploit them. Our flagship product, the NodeZero™ platform, delivers production-safe autonomous pentests and other key assessment operations that scale across internal, external, cloud, and hybrid cloud environments. NodeZero is used by organizations of all sizes, from small educational institutions to government agencies and Global 100 enterprises, and is leveraged by ITOps/SecOps teams, consulting pentesters, MSSPs, and MSPs.

The Senior Customer Enablement Manager will bring the foundational Horizon3 Customer Academy to life and help customers realize value from NodeZero faster. This role designs, builds, and continuously improves a customer learning experience that enables confident use of NodeZero across its capabilities, tiers, workflows, and functionality. The focus is practical, technical, and outcome-oriented: customers should not only understand what NodeZero does, but also be able to use it effectively in their own environments.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Academy Strategy and Architecture: Define and bring to life the foundational Horizon3 Customer Academy; build a curriculum architecture organized by customer role, use case, capability, product tier, and proficiency; define learning paths from foundational concepts to advanced usage; establish a scalable framework for customer education.
  • Customer Certifications and Readiness Programs: Design and launch certification programs that validate practical ability; define certification levels, learning requirements, assessments, hands-on activities, and completion criteria; create practical assessments such as knowledge checks, scenario-based exercises, configuration activities, test planning, result interpretation, and reporting workflows.
  • Technical “How-To” Content and Hands-On Learning: Create clear, practical technical modules showing customers how to use NodeZero effectively; develop step-by-step learning experiences covering core workflows, configuration, test execution, findings review, reporting, remediation validation, and other platform functionality; translate complex technical concepts into concise, usable instruction.
  • NodeZero Product and Domain Enablement: Develop and maintain deep working knowledge of NodeZero, its capabilities, product tiers, technical workflows, and customer use cases; stay current on product releases, roadmap changes, technical enhancements, attack research, and evolving customer needs; convert new functionality and product changes into customer-ready learning experiences.
  • Subject-Matter Expert Partnership: Build strong working relationships with Product, Engineering, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product Marketing, Attack Research, and other technical SMEs; create efficient processes for gathering expertise, validating technical accuracy, and turning SME knowledge into structured customer learning; facilitate content reviews and maintain high standards for accuracy, clarity, usability, and instructional quality.
  • Learning Experience Design and Content Production: Personally design and produce high-quality customer enablement content for live, virtual, and self-paced learning experiences; use adult learning principles, instructional design best practices, and customer-centered design; build reusable templates and standards for lessons, modules, assessments, facilitator guides, labs, and certification materials; continuously improve content based on customer feedback, learner performance, product changes, and adoption data.
  • Measurement, Adoption, and Continuous Improvement: Define and track measures of customer readiness, engagement, certification, adoption, and time to value; use completion data, assessment results, customer feedback, support themes, and Customer Success insights to identify learning gaps and improvement opportunities; maintain a clear roadmap for new courses, certifications, updates, and retired content.

What Success Looks Like

  • First 30 Days: Learn NodeZero capabilities, product tiers, technical workflows, customer use cases, and adoption challenges; meet with key SMEs; review existing resources; define initial audience, priority personas, core learning paths, and highest-value use cases; produce a prioritized Academy roadmap with deliverables, owners, dependencies, and launch criteria.
  • By 60 Days: Establish Academy structure, content standards, course templates, certification framework, and SME contribution process; build and release initial technical “how-to” modules; develop outline and requirements for first certification; pilot a learning path or certification with internal SMEs and stakeholders; establish regular review cadence.
  • By 90 Days: Launch first production-ready Customer Academy learning path and initial modules; pilot first customer certification with clear completion requirements and feedback loop; publish maintainable curriculum map; establish operating rhythm including intake, prioritization, content production, review, release, feedback, and maintenance; define initial success measures.
  • First-Year Outcomes: Foundational Customer Academy live with clear structure, audience strategy, learning paths, and actively managed roadmap; multiple certifications and learning paths live covering priority workflows, capabilities, tiers, and use cases; customers can build demonstrable proficiency; Customer Success and SMEs have repeatable contribution and review processes; Academy engagement and adoption data used to improve content and prioritize development; Academy recognized as practical path to customer readiness and faster time to value.
