About the role

The Senior Curriculum Developer & Instructor is responsible for developing and delivering technical training programs that enable users to effectively utilize the organization’s data platform. This position contributes to customer success and business growth by creating engaging training experiences, supporting certification programs, educating technical audiences, and building community engagement through events and industry activities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop technical training courses for both on-demand and instructor-led formats, including presentations, videos, demonstrations, and hands-on labs.
  • Design courses tailored to different user personas and technical audiences in collaboration with Engineering and Product teams.
  • Collaborate with other Curriculum Developers to produce accurate, engaging, and high-quality on-demand learning content.
  • Deliver technical training virtually and in person for both public and private audiences.
  • Create, administer, and maintain quizzes, assessments, and certification examinations.
  • Build community awareness and engagement through social media, industry events, conferences, and other educational activities.
  • Travel regionally to deliver training sessions, support events, and promote the organization’s data platform.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated and capable of managing projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn and communicate new technologies and technical concepts.
  • Experience developing technical curriculum for audiences such as software engineers, database developers, and other technical professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach and engage diverse technical audiences.
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout Asia and Australia.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Strong technical knowledge of database management systems, OLAP, cloud and SaaS platforms, distributed systems, and big data technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and responsibility for delivering high-quality work.

Pay

Typical starting salary for this role in the United States: $132,000–$166,000 USD. Typical salary range for U.S. Premium Markets: $147,000–$184,000 USD. Final compensation may vary based on location, experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
