Qualifications

• Keeps timesheets;
• Performs performance reviews and evaluations;
• Assigns work;
• Trains other mechanics in the repair and maintenance of new and existing water plant equipment.
• Qualification Requirements
• Thorough knowledge of related industry, organization and department policies, practices and procedures;
• Thorough knowledge of blueprints, factory manuals, and engineering specifications;
• Thorough knowledge of telemetry, trending reports, and graphs of the trade;
• Thorough knowledge of timesheets and employee appraisals;
• Thorough knowledge of credit card reconciliation, billing statements, and invoices;
• Thorough knowledge on reading meters;
• Thorough knowledge of the use and operation of equipment related to the trade;
• Ability to make arithmetic computations using whole numbers, fractions and decimals;
• Ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages;
• Ability to compute measurement conversion in field;
• Ability to compute flow, pressure, and other liquid mathematical principles;
• Ability to develop and maintain an effective working relationship with associates, supervisors, and the general public.
