Senior Counsel, Regulatory Compliance

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Counsel, Regulatory Compliance to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will provide practical, risk-based legal guidance on healthcare regulatory and compliance matters in a highly regulated environment. The Senior Counsel will partner closely with Compliance and business leaders to help identify, assess, and mitigate risk while supporting scalable processes that enable sound decision-making. The position also involves monitoring regulatory developments, drafting policies and related documents, and delivering business-oriented solutions across multiple teams. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $132,000 – $220,000 annually Responsibilities Provide practical, risk-based legal advice on healthcare regulatory and compliance matters Partner with Compliance and business teams to identify and mitigate risks Support regulatory risk assessments and monitoring activities Draft and review compliance-related documents and policies Collaborate with various teams to develop business-oriented solutions Monitor legal and regulatory developments and provide actionable guidance Manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment Qualifications JD from an accredited law school and active U.S. bar membership 7-10 years of relevant legal experience Experience advising on healthcare regulatory and compliance matters Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements Strong drafting and issue-spotting skills Benefits Hybrid work model with Richmond, VA preferred Opportunity for up to 25% travel Access to a comprehensive benefits package Support in building scalable compliance processes Engagement in a rapidly growing healthcare market Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
