Senior Counsel – Business Attorney

Key Responsibilities

• Advises business owners on succession planning and ownership transitions
• Manages entity formation, restructuring, and governance matters
• Leads and supports mergers and acquisitions
• Serves as a trusted business advisor to clients
• Mentors junior attorneys and collaborates across practice areas

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school; active bar admission
• Minimum of 6 years of private practice experience
• Demonstrated experience working with closely held businesses, including succession planning, governance, and M&A
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Must be currently licensed in Nebraska or eligible to become licensed; other state licenses (especially in states within our footprint) while not required, will be considered
