Senior Cost Accountant

We’re partnered with a growing manufacturer looking for a Senior Cost Accountant to take ownership of cost visibility and financial performance at a key production site. This is a high-impact role where you’ll work directly with operations leadership, driving smarter decisions, improving profitability, and bringing clarity to the numbers that matter most.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Own the month-end close process for a manufacturing site, ensuring accurate reporting across materials, labor, and overhead
- Dive into variances (PPV, material, labor, overhead) and drive real solutions, not just reporting
- Partner with operations, procurement, and leadership to identify cost savings and efficiency gains
- Improve and challenge costing structures, standards, and assumptions
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning with strong financial modeling
- Drive continuous improvement across financial processes and reporting
What They’re Looking For:
- 5–10 years in cost accounting or manufacturing finance
- Strong experience in a plant or production environment
- Hands-on ownership of month-end close and variance analysis
- ERP system experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Someone who can work independently but also influence across teams

Job Details
Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 per year
