Senior Corporate Parts Specialist
Job Summary
About the role
This position is responsible for ensuring shop inventory is available and accessible for shop technicians, maintaining sustainable levels of parts, and ensuring items are properly set up for new equipment.
Responsibilities
- Answer item-related questions; troubleshoot parts issues and inquiries from inventory locations and Fleet Support
- Manage equipment bill of materials
- Create new Item Numbers to be managed by internal Inventory Locations
- Prepare and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of weekly/monthly/ad hoc reports
- Maintain part levels at a sustainable level for technicians for repairs
- Cookordinate with outside vendors for part setup on new incoming equipment
- Train, mentor, and onboard junior team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED with 3-5 years related experience and/or training
- Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas through various mediums
- Ability to document information and make quick decisions
- Ability to work both individually and as a team
- Ability to work with under minimal direction
- Ability to process information with high levels of accuracy
- Ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations to provide excellent service
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to develop trusting relationships by valuing others' concerns and contributions
