Senior Corporate Counsel
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to draft, review, and negotiate a variety of complex contracts, including vendor agreements, customer contracts, and other business agreements under time constraints and unequal bargaining positions.
- Ensure that all contracts adhere to applicable laws and regulations in the telecommunications industry.
- Identify and assess legal risks associated with business contracts and provide strategic advice to mitigate risks.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and procurement, to understand business needs and align legal strategies with organizational objectives.
- Assist in the resolution of contractual disputes, including providing legal analysis, negotiation support, and advising on dispute resolution strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of telecommunications laws and regulations in the USA and Canada.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

- Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Education & Experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of legal experience with a focus on contract negotiation in the telecommunications industry.
Pay
Estimated base salary range: $112,800 - $173,600 USD/annually. The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
