Senior Corporate Attorney
About the role
Bricker Graydon Wyatt is seeking an experienced attorney to join its Corporate practice in Ohio and Kentucky. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years' experience in general business and transactional work with closely held businesses, as well as first chair M&A experience. Partial or full book of business preferred, but not required. Candidates should possess excellent academic credentials, high ethical standards, strong writing, analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Must also demonstrate strong project management skills and the ability to work with multiple attorneys on various assignments.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and representation to closely held businesses and closely held business owners
- Lead and manage complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions
- Collaborate with other attorneys and clients to develop and implement strategic plans
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents
- Advise on regulatory compliance issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in at least one of the following jurisdictions: Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, or Tennessee
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in corporate law
- Experience with M&A transactions
