Job Description WSP is initiating a search for a Senior Coordinator, Sales and Business Development in our Tempe, AZ; Tucson, AZ; or Albuquerque, NM offices. As part of our Strategic Growth Team, you will play an active role in shaping pursuit strategy and helping technical teams tell a clear, compelling story about WSP’s value. Our ideal candidate brings A/E/C or professional services experience, strong proposal coordination skills, creativity, and persuasive storytelling. The right candidate is a trusted partner to technical teams—organized, proactive, collaborative, and confident contributing ideas that improve strategy, messaging, and pursuit outcomes. This role offers a strong path for continued growth within WSP’s Strategic Growth Team, with opportunities to deepen pursuit strategy skills, strengthen partnerships with technical teams, and take on increasing responsibility in proposal leadership. Your Impact Duties And Responsibilities Leads standard and complex proposals/qualifications with general guidance, including kick-off meetings, strategy sessions, color reviews, schedules, compliance, and final delivery. Researches, writes, edits, and produces proposal content and related materials with a focus on clarity, compliance, and key messages. Coordinates with graphics team members, outside vendors, and subcontractors to produce proposal, presentation, and sales materials that support the pursuit strategy. Partners with technical, pursuit, and client teams as a strategic voice at the table, helping shape pursuit strategies, client plans, business intelligence, and meeting materials. Organizes and facilitates strategy meetings to align teams around priorities, actions, and win themes. Leads pursuit presentation efforts, including interview coaching, graphics coordination, and message refinement. Maintains sales systems, collateral, resumes, project descriptions, proposal files, and business development databases. May support regional communications activities such as newsletters, project awards, visibility campaigns, conferences, and social media. Uses technology and emerging tools to improve sales, business development, and client engagement activities. May provide oversight of work performed by other team members. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Who You Are Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience, with 5–7 years preferred, in proposal development, editing, proofreading, and sales/business development coordination. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and related collaboration tools. Strong organizational, coordination, liaison, and business development process skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines, facilitate meetings, and coordinate large, diverse teams. Demonstrated experience managing standard and complex proposals from kickoff through submission. Strategic mindset with the confidence to advise technical teams, contribute perspective, and support pursuit planning and client engagement. Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct in accordance with WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies. Proven commitment to workplace safety and compliance with WSP's health, safety, drug/alcohol, and harassment policies. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the A/E/C industry. Experience supporting transportation, infrastructure, or other professional services pursuits in Arizona or the Southwest market. Proficiency with Adobe Indesign. Interest in automation and emerging technologies. Involvement in industry organizations.
