About the role

Global Time & Labor Management (TLM) is seeking a candidate focused on individual and team performance as well as continuous process improvement. The team ensures timecards are accurate and compliant with RTX policies, Federal, and State Labor Laws. This role involves working ServiceNow tickets from internal and external customers, conducting research, performing calculations, analysis, and data entry to support labor processes in a high-volume, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Documentation: Create and maintain process documentation for assigned tasks, regularly reviewing and refining documentation to reflect process changes, best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Reporting: Compile and analyze financial information for reports and metrics to share with other RTX departments, employees, and supervisors.
  • Auditing: Perform calculations, analysis, and data entry to support the labor process, including continuous checks for work accuracy to detect and correct errors.
  • Separations: Calculate and process employee final paychecks daily by reviewing and reconciling timecards, including vacation or paid time off balances.
  • Communication: Provide effective customer support through reliable, quick, and accurate problem resolution.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with other RTX departments to ensure precise responses and seamless operations.
  • Compliance: Understand and ensure compliance with federal and state wage and hour laws and RTX policies.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • An Associate’s Degree (or other 2-year post-high school training) and a minimum of 6 years of relevant payroll, timekeeping, finance, auditing, and/or compliance experience.
  • Intermediate skills in MS Word and Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables).

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience in Payroll or Timekeeping gained in a corporate environment.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, EV5, and Workday with an emphasis on Payroll or Timekeeping.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Self-starter with effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities to promote work efficiency.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service through verbal and written communication in a corporate environment.

Location

This is a hybrid role. Eligible candidates must reside within commuting distance of Greenville/Richardson, TX; Cedar Rapids, IA; or Farmington, CT.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $53,100 USD - $100,900 USD. The range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including the role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
