About the role
Raytheon’s Space Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (S-ISR) business area is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the program area director and individual program teams. This onsite position in Richardson, TX requires daily presence and a positive, optimistic attitude. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, able to multitask, and possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Arrange meetings and events, track expenses, and coordinate travel.
- Manage calendars and coordinate customer and executive meetings.
- Assist programs with tracking clearances, action items, and special projects.
- Provide logistics support for IT, facilities, and catering functions.
- Collaborate with other Administrative Assistants across the campus.
- Build relationships, exercise good judgment, and work effectively within Raytheon’s matrix structure.
- Take initiative with minimal oversight to add value to the team.
Requirements
- AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post-high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced to expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Active and transferable U.S. government-issued TS/SCI security clearance required on day 1.
- U.S. citizenship (required for security clearance eligibility).
- Professional administrative experience supporting a senior leader in a medium to large organization.
- Ad-hoc support experience for senior executives during leadership visits.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional, positive, and collaborative attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active and transferable TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $53,100 – $100,900 USD. The range reflects all experience levels; RTX considers role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills when extending an offer.
